Meet XINA

For the second installment of The Future is Dope, XINA welcomed us into her home alongside Chui Productions, inviting us into the space where her ideas become reality. In her home studio complete with a harp, performance attire, cameras and her recording equipment we discussed the journey behind her music, finding inspiration through setbacks, and what it means to create on her own terms.

Channeling emotion into art

During our conversation, she opened up about a pivotal moment in her career, an audition for an artist grant. Rather than letting that experience define her, she turned it into art, channeling those emotions into music that ultimately became a catalyst for growth.
